Your Role: As a Senior SDET focused on Tools and Reporting, you will lead the design, development, and evolution of scalable testing tools, quality gates, and reporting frameworks that empower development teams to deliver high‑quality software efficiently. Your work will directly influence engineering velocity, test reliability, and visibility into software quality across the organization. Own and evolve the test tooling ecosystem: lead development, integration, and maintenance of internal testing tools, including performance/load testing platforms. Architect and optimize the test toolchain: assess and improve test infrastructure; recommend and implement new tools or upgrades. Establish and scale test automation practices: define and implement automation strategies and frameworks across teams. Design and automate quality reporting frameworks: build reporting systems that capture key testing metrics and deliver actionable insights. Deliver real‑time visibility into quality: create dynamic dashboards and visualizations for test execution, pipeline health, and overall software quality. Integrate quality gates into CI/CD pipelines: embed automated quality checks into CI/CD workflows. Champion SDLC‑wide quality integration: partner with developers, QA, and DevOps to embed quality practices throughout the software lifecycle. Enable engineering teams: help teams set up test environments, run performance/load tests, analyze coverage, and onboard to internal tools. Drive JIRA‑based quality tracking: ensure quality‑related tasks, issues, and test results are traceable and visible across the SDLC. Document and evangelize best practices: maintain comprehensive documentation and promote adoption through training. What You Need: 5+ years of experience as an SDET focusing on test tooling, automation, and reporting. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field. Proven experience in establishing test automation frameworks and strategies. Cloud testing experience (preferably Azure) – environment provisioning, test orchestration, monitoring. Non‑negotiable – at least one tool from the list: API testing tools: Rest Assured, Supertest, Postman. Automation frameworks: Playwright, Cypress, JUnit, Rest Assured; performance tools like JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner. CI/CD integration: Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions. Nice to have: Reporting and visualization tools: Grafana, Kibana, or similar. Quality reporting framework design experience. Excellent collaboration and communication skills. Strategic mindset and problem‑solving skills.
