The Intermediate Accountant will be working closely with the client to support the business and manage the following tasks: Processing up to Trial Balance stage and preparing financial statements for lodgement with the Australian Taxation Office. Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analysing accounts Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts; preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries. Reconcile GST that has gone through the fund with what's been paid to the ATO Prepare private tax returns, company, trust, partnership tax returns and end-of-year compliance jobs Complete required tax reporting in a timely manner Research and correct process errors that caused incorrect tax filings and negotiate with tax authorities over tax payment issues Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential. Offer open lines of communication between management to ensure targets are met Prepare and update tax provision schedules Qualifications / Skills We are looking for an A-star individual, passionate and competent with what they do and bringing the WOW with the following qualifications: Graduate of Accountancy or Accounting Technology; Advantage if CPA licensed With more than 3+ years of work experiences in accounting preferably Australian Accounting Excellent communication skills - written and verbal Attentive to details and organized Good time management skills Experience with Xero and Xero Practice Manager What's in it for you?
