PV Installation Quality Control Specialist
Job Title: Photovoltaic Installation Quality Control Specialist Overview:
The Photovoltaic Installation Quality Control Specialist ensures that solar installations are executed in compliance with NEC, building codes, and project plans. This role monitors construction quality, identifies deviations, and supports communication between field teams and other departments to maintain project standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review installation photos to verify compliance with NEC, local building codes, and safety standards.
- Compare completed installations against plan-sets, identifying deviations, errors, or inconsistencies.
- Document and communicate any discrepancies to the appropriate teams for corrective action.
- Assist in maintaining the inspection pipeline by coordinating with Design, Permitting, and Field teams.
- Support continuous improvement of installation processes by providing feedback on recurring issues.
Requirements
- Experience in photovoltaic installation, quality control, or electrical construction.
- Knowledge of NEC, local building codes, and general construction standards.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify technical issues in photos and plans.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills to coordinate across multiple teams.
- Familiarity with plan-sets, photo documentation, and inspection procedures.
