Job Title: Sr. Project Manager & Chief Electro-Mechanical roleProject Entity: Large Pumped Storage ProjectSite location: PhilippinesNote: Expat candidates will be prioritized SUMMARY The Sr PM and Chief – Electro-Mechanical is responsible for the comprehensive management and execution of all electro-mechanical (E&M) systems within a major hydropower dam and largest pumped storage hydroelectric power plant in the Philippines . This includes oversight of the procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning of critical systems such as turbines, generators, transformers, switchgear, SCADA systems, and associated balance-of-plant equipment. This role provides leadership to multidisciplinary teams, manages contractors and OEMs, ensures technical and regulatory compliance, and drives the project to successful completion within scope, budget, timeline, and safety expectations. JOB DESCRIPTION Lead the planning and execution of electro-mechanical packages, from design integration to commissioning. Manage all aspects of E&M procurement, including coordination with OEMs and equipment suppliers for key hydroelectric components. Oversee installation, inspection, testing, and commissioning of equipment such as hydro turbines, generators, power transformers, excitation and control systems. Review and approve technical documents, shop drawings, FAT/SAT protocols, and method statements. Coordinate with civil, structural, geotechnical, and environmental teams to resolve interdisciplinary interfaces. Monitor and control project schedules, progress, and performance KPIs specific to the E&M scope. Ensure all E&M works are compliant with local regulations, contractual obligations, and international standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE, ANSI). Enforce strict adherence to safety, health, and environmental protocols during site works. Prepare and present reports, technical updates, and risk assessments to project leadership and stakeholders. Mentor and supervise engineers, site supervisors, and contractors under the E&M discipline. REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electro-Mechanical Engineering; PRC license required. Postgraduate degree in Energy Systems, Project Management, or a related field is an advantage. At least 25+ years of experience in electro-mechanical project execution with a minimum of 10 years in hydropower or pumped storage projects. Proven track record in managing E&M works under EPC, design-build, or turnkey contracts. Familiarity with international codes and practices (IEC, IEEE, ISO, FIDIC, etc.). Strong project management skills, with proficiency in MS Project or Primavera. Excellent communication, contractor management, and conflict resolution abilities. Strong background in hydro turbines, generators, control systems, and HV electrical components. Willing to be deployed 100% in Pakil, Laguna site; Accommodation provided #J-18808-Ljbffr
