About the Role
As a Customer Success team lead for the Philippines, you will drive strategic client engagements and lead the development of customised research solutions in conjunction with the Pacific team. You’ll oversee largescale projects, guide cross functional teams, and contribute to thought leadership across the region. In addition to leading strategic client engagements, this role also plays a key part in supporting and developing a growing team of junior researchers in the Philippines. The ability to balance project ownership with team coordination is essential.
What You’ll Do- Oversee financial performance of projects, ensuring profitability and adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Ensure project profitability and operational excellence.
- Play a key role in client retention by maintaining strong relationships and driving satisfaction metrics such as Net Promoter Score (NPS).
- Partner with the Pacific team and Sales to identify and support cross sell opportunities that contribute to account growth and long term value.
- Partner with Sales to identify client needs and shape research solutions.
- Lead strategic research engagements across multiple markets and sectors.
- Oversee the design and execution of complex quant/qual studies.
- Synthesize insights into strategic recommendations and presentations.
- Mentor and develop team members across levels.
- Champion innovation in research design and storytelling.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across APAC and global teams.
- Represent NIQ in client meetings, workshops, and industry forums.
- Support day-to-day coordination and development of team members based in the Philippines, helping maintain consistent delivery standards and fostering professional growth in a collaborative environment.
- Foster a collaborative working environment across locations, encouraging knowledge sharing and alignment with Pacific led initiatives.
- Support the development of regional expertise in certain disciplines (main focus on segmentation and shopper studies) through project leadership, training, and best practice sharing.
- Help coordinate research delivery across APAC markets, leveraging the Philippines team’s location and capabilities to enhance regional responsiveness and cohesion.
What You’ll Bring
- 7–12 years of experience in market research or consulting - (Shopper & Segmentation experience preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree (postgraduate qualifications preferred).
- Excellent leadership and mentoring capabilities.
- Deep expertise in both quantitative and qualitative research.
- Proven ability to lead strategic client engagements.
- Strong storytelling and presentation skills.
- Strong prioritisation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines.
- Curiosity and a proactive approach to learning and mentoring.
- Experience with advanced analytics and insight generation.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and globally.
