If so, this is the perfect opportunity for you Job Description We are hiring a Part‑Time Commercial Trust Accounting Assistant to manage and maintain the integrity of our client trust accounts. This crucial role ensures all financial transactions related to commercial property management—including tenant receipts, owner disbursements, and creditor payments—are processed accurately and in compliance with relevant legislation. Expertise in RE‑Leased software is 100% mandatory. Experience with VaultRE is highly desirable. Job Responsibilities Daily Trust Reconciliation: Reconcile the daily trust account balance and all receipting transactions against tenant ledgers. Financial Balancing: Regularly balance the trial balance to ensure all transactions are accurately processed, recorded, and reconciled. Accounts Payable: Accurately enter and process creditor invoices for payment from trust funds. Fund Disbursements: Create and process timely disbursements of funds held in trust to property owners and creditors. Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to all trust accounting legislation and internal control procedures. This Role is NOT For... Individuals with no prior experience in Australian commercial property trust accounting. Candidates who do not have mandatory, practical experience with the RE‑Leased software platform. Those seeking full‑time employment (this is strictly a part‑time position). Individuals whose primary experience is in residential‑only trust accounting. Required Qualifications and Experience Mandatory Software Expertise: Proven, practical, and recent experience utilizing RE‑Leased software for trust accounting is essential. Trust Accounting Experience: Minimum of 1 year of direct experience in commercial property trust accounting. Software Preference (Highly Desirable): Experience with VaultRE. Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of double‑entry bookkeeping and accounting principles relevant to trust accounts. Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy and meticulous attention to detail in high‑volume transaction processing. Legal Knowledge: Familiarity with relevant state or national legislation governing property trust accounts.
