Navigating the position: Salesforce CPQ Tester

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Salesforce Tester with expertise in Salesforce CPQ and general Salesforce testing to join our growing team. In this role, you will not only lead system and functional testing but also guide business users through User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and create clear, user-friendly playbooks for post-go-live use. You will work closely with developers, analysts, and end users to ensure a seamless rollout and adoption of Salesforce solutions.

Your Voyage Ahead:

• Salesforce CPQ & General Testing
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing across Salesforce CPQ and core Salesforce modules (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, etc.).
  • Validate configurations including product bundles, pricing rules, approval workflows, and quote templates.
  • Test custom objects, triggers, flows, validation rules, and Lightning components.
  • Design, document, and execute test cases and test scripts based on functional requirements and user stories.
  • Log, track, and retest defects using tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
  • Collaborate with Salesforce developers and admins to ensure timely resolution of defects.
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Support
  • Assist business stakeholders in planning and conducting UAT.
  • Provide guidance and support to non-technical users during UAT, ensuring clear understanding of test cases and expectations.
  • Collect and document UAT feedback, issues, and enhancement requests.
  • Act as a bridge between users and technical teams during the testing phase.
• User Enablement & Playbook Creation
  • Create comprehensive user playbooks that document key business processes, step-by-step instructions, and best practices for using Salesforce CPQ and related functionality.
  • Tailor documentation to suit end-user roles (sales reps, finance, operations, etc.).
  • Deliver training sessions, quick reference guides, or walkthroughs as needed to support adoption.
  • Support users during and immediately after go-live to ensure smooth transition.

Recommended to bring on board:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce testing, including CPQ and core Salesforce modules.
• Solid understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and declarative configuration.
• Proven experience writing and executing test cases, scripts, and defect reports.
• Hands-on experience supporting UAT and working directly with business users.
• Strong documentation and communication skills with the ability to translate technical details into end-user documentation.
• Familiarity with test management tools like Jira
• Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and ability to work independently or in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Salesforce Certified Administrator and/or CPQ Specialist.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Industry experience in SaaS is an advantage.
