RCBC Trust Corporation is the Stand Alone Trust Corporation of the Yuchengco Group of Companies (YGC) which is largely held by PSE listed companies RCBC and House of Investments (HI). Key products and services include Investment Advisory, Estate Planning, Corporate Trusts and Agency Services, UITFs, directed and discretionary Investment Management Accounts (IMAs), Personal Management Trusts (PMTs), Retirement Fund Management, and Life Insurance Trusts among others.

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Portfolio Manager based in Makati, with flexibility for limited remote work weekly. The Portfolio Manager / Fund Manager will be responsible for day-to-day management of a portfolio of investments, ensuring transactions are encoded in the system and aligned with the client’s risk parameters and regulatory restrictions, collaborating with investment advisors on market strategies, maintaining relationships with channel partners, and monitoring accounts for regular review. Portfolio Managers are expected to generate returns that are competitive versus the client's set benchmark and within their suitability parameters.

The position requires candidates to be experienced finance professionals, ideally 5 - 10 years in Trust banking and related fields in investment management. Candidates without experience managing traditional financial assets need not apply.

The range of the position's rank is assistant manager to senior manager level with the final offer dependent on the candidate's experience and subject to the approval of HR and management. Candidates looking for executive level openings need not apply.

• Responsible for managing and administering institutional trust and investment management accounts in accordance with the guidelines set by the client, internal policies, and regulatory restrictions.
• Analyzes up-to-date data in financial and capital markets to create investment strategy for assigned accounts and properly advise clients in decision-making during regular reviews.
• Coordinates with Trading desk on transaction execution and encodes transactions in the internal booking system.
• Potentially discusses investment strategies formulated by Investment Advisory team with clients and oversees its proper implementation.
• Primarily in charge of the performance of Accounts Review function for assigned accounts and ensures the appropriate disposition of findings of the Accounts Review Officer.
• Enhances customer relationship by servicing clients’ non-investment related transactions such as generating financial statements using internal systems and liaising with Operations as needed for bespoke reports
• Develops reports and files to improve efficiency in account management functions

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Industrial Management Engineering, or related fields
• Completion of the Trust Certification course, money market / treasury certification, KYC/AMLA, or similar certifications (CMT, CFA, FRM, CIPM, CAIA) preferred
• Strong working knowledge of various investment markets and products (i.e. money market, equities, bonds, deposits, foreign exchange, derivatives) with a preference for those specializing in fixed income trading
• Industry / Work Experience Required: At least three (5) years industry experience in Account Management, Fund Management, Portfolio Management, etc .
• Analytical skills, including the ability to interpret complex financial data and market trends
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain strong relationships with clients
