VP of Business Development @ RRP

The Business Development Director is expected to originate new business opportunities for RENOVA in renewable energy projects in the Philippines.
Supported by the Global Business team and other experienced functional teams of the company, the Business Development Director will lead the project origination team, cultivate relationships with the senior management of key industry players, originate project and partnership opportunities, and close negotiations and transactions. Additionally, they will lead the investment decision process with the investment committee and Board of Directors.
The Business Development Director reports to the Country Head of Renova Renewable Energy Philippines Inc.

The following qualifications are required:
- A strong desire to contribute to solving global environmental issues and to the renewable energy industry;
- Alignment with company mission and vision;
- At least 5 years of working experience in or for IPP and/or the infrastructure sector in the Philippines with hands-on project origination experience as a principal and/or advisor;
- Hands-on experience in project development throughout the project life-cycle;
- Existing network with key industry players in the Philippines;
- Management experience of a team and/or a company in a multi-cultural, multi-functional team environment;
- Flexibility and versatility to adapt to constantly changing dynamics of the renewable energy industry and the firm;
- Ability to travel frequently to target markets;
- Excellent written and oral English communication skills (professional business level);
- Hardworking, “can-do” attitude;
- Teamwork skills.
The following qualifications are considered a plus:
- Fluency in English and the local language.
