What We Expect

The Information Security Engineer will assist with security system deployments, configuration, monitoring and reporting. This role involves performing audits, vulnerability assessments, security testing, and collaborating with teams on remediation of audit findings. The position assists in implementing, maintaining, and integrating security controls for corporate WAN, LAN and server architecture.

Requirements
  • BS degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Min 2 years experience in Information Technology/Security
  • Working knowledge of endpoint security solutions including Enterprise Antivirus, Threat Protection, Application Control and Data Loss Prevention
  • Working knowledge of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, and IDS/IPS concepts
  • In-depth knowledge and experience with TCP/IP and protocol types
  • Experience in PCI, HIPAA, ISO 27001 and SOC2 audits and compliance is not required but a plus
  • Understanding of Windows, Linux operating systems and networking concepts
  • Experience in incident response and investigation
  • Problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to communicate network security issues to peers
  • Quick learner
  • Great attention to detail
