Overview Technical Trainer Work Setup: Onsite at The Hideout in Clark, Pampanga/Remote Employment Type: Full Time The Technical Trainer conducts product-specific and basic training to newly hired employees, as well as additional training to current employees to keep everyone up-to-date on changes in the industry that affect job requirements. Conducts focused training needs assessments within specified targeted adult populations; designs, develops, delivers, and evaluates a range of responsive educational curricula and training programs within defined fields of expertise. Responsibilities Delivers group and individual instruction and training covering a range of technical, operational, and/or management areas in a specified field Develops training curricula and recommends or utilizes vendor programs meeting instructional goals and objectives Formulates training outlines and determines instructional methods utilizing knowledge of specified training needs and effectiveness of such methods, such as individual training, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, conferences, meetings, and workshops Selects or develops training aids, including training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials, and reference works Coordinates administrative functions necessary to deliver and document training programs Evaluates the effectiveness of training and development programs, and utilizes relevant evaluation data to revise or recommend changes in instructional objectives and methods Assists in analyzing and assessing training and development needs for individuals, departments, and/or external organizations Potentially leads and trains employees who are performing related work Qualifications At least 3 years of training and development experience Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of clientele in a diverse workplace Teaching and facilitation skills - applied adult learning principles Ability to determine training objectives Organizing and coordinating skills Ability to design, develop, implement, and evaluate training plans, curricula, and methodology Skill in preparing instructional aids and plans 3–5 years of experience in technical support or IT helpdesk roles Operating Systems: Proficiency in Windows, macOS, and Linux environments SaaS Platforms: Experience with cloud-based applications, including SaaS debugging and user support Ticketing Systems: Proficiency with systems like Zendesk, ServiceNow, Jira, Freshdesk, Oracle Service Cloud, etc Networking Basics: Understanding of IP addressing, DNS, VPN, firewalls, and basic network configuration Hardware Troubleshooting: Experience diagnosing issues with desktops, laptops, peripherals, and basic IT infrastructure Software & Tools: Familiarity with productivity suites (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365) and remote support tools APIs & Webhooks: Foundational knowledge of RESTful APIs, authentication methods, and webhook use cases Understanding of customer service best practices and troubleshooting procedures Familiarity with DevOps tools or platforms like GitHub, Jenkins, Docker Ninja Perks and Benefits Full time employees Competitive compensation Adherence to government-mandated benefits Retirement Savings Program with Company Matching Life Insurance Paid time off, birthday leave Bonus and incentive plans Opportunities for skills training and personal and professional development Employee Referral Program Beautiful office space Free lunch provided daily Experience infinite fun so you can have infinite growth.
