Overview

GHD is hiring a Water Resources Engineer in Quezon City, National Capital Region, Philippines. The role focuses on stormwater and flood engineering, including hydrological and hydraulic modelling, conceptual design of stormwater management, and detailed design of drainage infrastructures. You will provide technical inputs and support to PH Water and Sydney Surface Water and Catchments.

What You’ll Do
  • Conduct surface water and flood assessments such as rainfall-runoff modelling, stormwater management, drainage design, flood studies and dam-break assessments
  • Draft reports and make recommendations based on study results
  • Coordinate with a project team to deliver the work and studies
What You Bring
  • 5+ years of experience in a modelling, design and engineering role with a focus on stormwater and flooding
  • Applied experience supporting infrastructure design through rainfall/runoff and flood modelling packages
  • Hands-on technical experience with software such as TUFLOW, HECRAS, DRAINS, QGIS, ArcPro, RORB, WBNM, Python, AutoCAD, 12D, Civil3D, etc.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and demonstrate commercial acumen
