About the role

As a Water System Engineer at DLB BATAAN WATER CORP.', you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and sustainable operation of the company's water infrastructure. This full-time position is based in Makati City Metro Manila, and you will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of the water distribution system, ensuring a reliable and high-quality water supply to the local community.

What you'll be doing

  1. Designing and planning water distribution systems, including pipelines, pumping stations, and storage facilities
  2. Monitoring and analysing the performance of the water distribution system, identifying and resolving any issues
  3. Implementing preventive maintenance and repair programs to ensure the longevity and reliability of water system components
  4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as operations and maintenance, to optimise the water system's performance
  5. Ensuring compliance with all relevant water quality and environmental regulations
  6. Providing technical expertise and support to the wider team, including training and mentoring of junior engineers

What we're looking for

  1. A bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Water Resources Engineering
  2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in water system design, operations, and maintenance
  3. Strong technical skills in hydraulic modelling, pipeline design, and water treatment processes
  4. Proficiency in project management, problem-solving, and decision-making
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
  6. A passion for sustainable water management and a commitment to delivering high-quality services
