About the role Kintetsu World Express Phils., Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Impex Specialist to join our team in Subic, Zambales. As an Impex Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the freight/cargo forwarding operations of our company, managing the import and export processes for our clients. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the strategic growth and success of our organisation. What you'll be doing Coordinate and oversee the import and export activities for a diverse range of clients, ensuring seamless and efficient cargo handling Prepare and process all necessary documentation, including customs clearance, invoicing, and other relevant paperwork Liaise with various stakeholders, such as freight forwarders, customs authorities, and clients, to resolve any issues or queries Monitor and track shipments, providing regular updates and status reports to clients Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the overall efficiency of the import/export operations Contribute to the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures and best practices Collaborate with the broader team to support the company's growth and expansion initiatives What we're looking for Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar freight/cargo forwarding role, preferably in the manufacturing, transport, and logistics industry Strong understanding of import/export regulations, customs clearance procedures, and related documentation Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, partners, and internal teams Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with the ability to use logistics management software Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines A proactive problem-solver with a customer-centric mindset Willingness to learn and adapt to changes in the industry What we offer At Kintetsu World Express Phils., Inc., we are committed to providing a supportive and enriching work environment for our employees.
