Overview

Virtual Rockstar is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Full-Stack Developer to join our client’s team. With a good understanding of the back-end and strong front-end capabilities, the ideal candidate is a self-starter with a passion for technology and AI integration, capable of working independently without constant supervision. This full-time position requires proficiency in various technologies and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.

This is a remote position.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Node.js, React.js, and React Native.
  • Implement RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Deploy and manage applications in Azure cloud environments.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications to improve performance and reliability.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or proven equivalent skills.
  • Good experience as a Full-Stack Developer with a strong portfolio of web applications.
  • Experience building SaaS-based applications, preferably B2B.
  • Strong proficiency in Node.js and React.js frameworks.
  • Strong experience with PostgreSQL.
  • Experience designing and implementing microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with Azure cloud services and deployment processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Experience with CI/CD and DevOps is a huge plus.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with AI integration and machine learning models; familiarity with additional programming languages and frameworks; contributions to open-source projects or a strong personal GitHub portfolio.
