Merchandising Coordinator

Results Needed: Products are well-planned, stocked, and launched on time, maximizing sales and minimizing overstock. Key Responsibilities: 1. Planning & Replenishment Develop product line-ups based on sales performance, seasonal demand, and new style introductions. Plan allocations per SKU, store, and channel according to inventory and sales targets. Maintain weekly timelines and track milestones to ensure all product and replenishment activities stay on schedule. Coordinate closely with Sampling, Sales, Production, and Inventory teams to keep plans aligned with launch goals. 2. Inventory Monitoring Monitor inventory levels, reorder points, and stock performance across categories. Ensure all staples and new styles remain above reorder thresholds; trigger replenishment actions proactively. Analyze inventory reports to recommend stock transfers, replenishment actions, or markdowns and promotions based on performance. 3. Product Creation & System Accuracy Ensure all product data (SKU, price, cost, category, images) are accurate and updated in Katana and Shopify. Prepare and maintain Manufacturing Orders (MOs) and Outsourced Purchase Orders (OPOs) in coordination with Production and Purchasing. Uphold data accuracy for costing, pricing, and availability to ensure smooth product flow from production to sales. 4. Team & Cross-Department Coordination Lead product orientations and briefings for Sales and Marketing before launches or promotions. Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Inventory to ensure synchronized campaigns, pricing, and visual execution. Coordinate promotions, product highlights, and store display adjustments based on sales trends and stock longevity. Consolidate feedback from Sales, CX, and Production to inform design and sampling improvements for future lines. Results Needed Products are well-planned, stocked, and launched on time. Inventory is optimized — fast-moving items replenished, slow-movers acted on quickly. Accurate product data supports smooth operations and timely launches.
