Job Overview The Accounts Receivable Senior Analyst is responsible for managing and analyzing the accounts receivable and claims process, ensuring timely collection, dispute resolution, and the proper management of outstanding payments. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate billing, identifying discrepancies, and providing strategic insights to improve financial operations. The Senior Analyst will work closely with internal teams such as finance, operations, and customer service to streamline processes and ensure a smooth flow of transactions. Job Responsibilities Accounts Receivable Management Monitor and manage the company’s AR portfolio, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing. Review aging reports and follow up with customers or clients on overdue payments. Investigate discrepancies between payments and invoices and work with internal departments to resolve them. Ensure the accurate and timely posting of payments and adjustments to the AR ledger. Claims Management Review, validate, and process claims submitted by customers or insurance providers. Work with customers and insurance companies to ensure accurate claim submission and documentation. Investigate and resolve discrepancies or issues related to claim processing. Track the status of claims and follow up to ensure timely resolution. Dispute Resolution Act as the primary point of contact for any AR-related disputes or claim-related issues. Collaborate with customers, vendors, and internal teams to address and resolve billing discrepancies and claims concerns. Ensure that all claims and disputes are resolved efficiently, minimizing customer dissatisfaction and financial impact. Reporting and Analysis Prepare regular reports on AR aging, claims status, and collections performance. Conduct trend analysis and provide insights to management on claims or AR performance. Assist with financial forecasting and reporting to ensure that the company’s receivables are aligned with business goals. Process Improvement Identify opportunities for process improvements in claims and AR management. Work with the finance team to implement new tools, systems, or procedures to improve the efficiency and accuracy of claims processing and accounts receivable functions. Job Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. At least 3 years of experience in accounts receivable and claims management. Strong understanding of accounts receivable and claims processing, accounting principles, and financial systems. Proficiency in MS Excel and experience with financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
