Overview We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounting Supervisor to join our team. The role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial records, timely reporting, tax compliance, payroll processing, and inventory monitoring, while supporting audits, budgets, and process improvements. Responsibilities Checks and reviews regularly journal vouchers, accounts payable, check vouchers and all other financial summaries, schedules and reports prepared by the accounting staffs. Ensures proper recording, classifying and summarization of accounting transactions at all time. Recommends accounting process improvements, if any. Reviews the work of direct reports and ensures accounting records are updated, accurate, and complete. Checks and reviews regularly the following: General ledgers account balances before and after management reports, preparation and closing of books. Trade accounts balances, inter-company accounts, other receivables, payables and/or other accounts Taxes and other government returns are paid in timely manner. Contracts Assists Controller in accomplishing the following reports on time: Preparing, summarizing, analyzing account balances, overhead and operating expenses for the preparation of the Management Report Preparation of Monthly Trial Balance Cash Position Report Budget preparation Preparation of tax returns and other government requirements to be submitted to Plant for filing. Handling records and documents needed by external auditors and BIR Processes renewal of permits required by Local Government, SEC, and BIR. Prepares journal voucher for accruals, amortization, depreciation, and adjustments. Maintaining Fixed Assets Register and Lapsing Schedules. Conducts bank reconciliations monthly and prepares proforma entries for reconciling items. Compute regular payroll with proforma entries, and final pay for resigned/terminated employees. Monitors movement of inventory, especially retail. Prepares month-end inventory entries for ending inventory, cost of sales, and adjustments. Investigates any material discrepancies, every month. Maintains confidentiality of records at all time. Performs other duties as may be assigned by the Controller. Qualifications Graduate of BS Accountancy or related business course At least 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience Knowledgeable in Oracle NetSuite or other accounting systems Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines Flexible, hardworking, and highly motivated #J-18808-Ljbffr
