Recruitment Specialist - Full-Time, Freelance Magic – Taguig, National Capital Region, Philippines About Magic Magic is a leading modern outsourcing platform connecting SMBs to high‑quality remote workers, from SDRs to virtual assistants and more. Role Overview The Freelance Recruitment Specialist is responsible for end‑to‑end recruitment and hiring of qualified global candidates to fill the specialized manpower requirements of our Boutique clients. The role focuses on sourcing, interviewing, and endorsing candidates for hard‑to‑fill, niche positions while ensuring standard recruitment and selection processes are observed consistently. Responsibilities Screening – Review resumes, select those that closely match job descriptions and qualifications; schedule and conduct interviews; conduct mock calls and script readings. Endorsement & Coaching – Coach applicants on improvement areas, re‑record mock calls and script readings, facilitate endorsement of candidates for hard‑to‑fill roles, ensuring compliance with recruitment procedures. Support and Coordination – Assist with recruiting processes from start to finish and coordinate with other departments regarding any client needs not met by current hiring funnels. Qualifications 1‑3 years of recruitment experience, preferably in end‑to‑end or VA‑type recruitment. Volume/BPO hiring background acceptable. Experience with stakeholder management and client‑facing interactions. Proficiency with ATS/CRM systems and recruitment tools. Bachelor’s Degree in a related field. Proficiency with HubSpot, Slack, and other digital collaboration tools. WFH set‑up: Computer with at least 8GB RAM, Intel i5/AMD Ryzen 5 processor, 40MBPS internet, noise‑cancelling headset with mic, webcam, backup internet, quiet workspace. Minimal Supervision Required – Self‑motivated professional who works independently while meeting deadlines and KPI targets. Challenge‑Ready Mindset – Take on difficult, niche requisitions and complex recruitment scenarios. Team Player Attitude – Collaborate effectively with introverted and extroverted team members. Strong Communication Skills – Verbal and written communication suitable for global candidate interactions.
