Cavite City, Philippines CARMONA WATER DISTRICT - Government Full time

Carmona Water District, a government-owned and controlled corporation (GOCC), is seeking a reliable and dedicated master electrician. The candidate will be hired as a Job Order and will receive an additional 20% premium pay on top of the contract salary.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Electrical System Oversight

    • Supervise installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in pumping stations, treatment plants, reservoirs, and office facilities.

    • Inspect, test, and certify electrical works for compliance with the Philippine Electrical Code (or applicable local code).

  2. Preventive & Corrective Maintenance

    • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for motors, pumps, control panels, generators, and other electrical equipment.

    • Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults to minimize downtime.

  3. Project & Team Supervision

    • Lead and supervise electrician helpers and pump operators in daily tasks and projects.

    • Provide technical guidance and ensure safe work practices.

  4. Safety & Compliance

    • Ensure strict compliance with electrical safety standards, company policies, and government regulations.

    • Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments before work begins.

  5. Documentation & Reporting

    • Prepare reports on electrical issues, maintenance activities, and system improvements.

    • Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and electrical load monitoring.

  6. Support for Operations

    • Assist in energy efficiency projects to reduce the power consumption of water facilities.

Provide recommendations on system upgrades, replacements, and expansion works.
