Key Responsibilities Client Engagement & Inquiry Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for inbound travel inquiries from B2B clients. Understand client requirements and propose tailored travel packages, including accommodations, activities, and transportation. Provide prompt and accurate responses to queries, ensuring a high level of service. Sales Conversion: Persuade and guide clients toward booking by offering compelling travel solutions that meet their needs and preferences. Proactively follow up on inquiries to secure bookings and achieve sales targets. Identify upselling opportunities to maximize revenue per booking. Proposal Creation & Itinerary Design: Prepare detailed and attractive proposals, quotations, and itineraries that reflect the company’s offerings and competitive advantages. Ensure proposals are aligned with client budgets and expectations while highlighting unique destination experiences. Supplier Coordination: Collaborate with hotels, transport providers, and activity suppliers to secure competitive rates and availability. Negotiate favorable terms and conditions to enhance client offerings. Booking Management: Ensure all client bookings are accurately processed and confirmed within deadlines. Handle modifications, cancellations, and other changes efficiently to maintain client satisfaction. Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with B2B partners to foster loyalty and repeat business. Act as a destination expert, providing valuable insights and advice to clients. Market Intelligence: Stay updated on destination trends, new product offerings, and competitive market developments. Provide feedback to management on market needs and client preferences. Reporting & Performance Tracking: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, proposals, and bookings. Generate sales reports to track performance against targets. Key Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Sales, Business, or a related field (preferred). Proven experience in sales within travel and tourism industry. Strong knowledge of destination offerings, travel products, and industry trends (or strong desire to learn). Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to craft compelling proposals and itineraries. Goal-driven with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple inquiries simultaneously. By ensuring exceptional service delivery and successfully converting inquiries into bookings, the Sales/Destination Specialist plays a critical role in the company's growth and reputation.
