Area of Assignment: El Nido, Palawan Reports to: Quality Manager Duties and Responsibilities Quality Assurance and Control Interpret and review MEPF designs, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements and applicable standards. Conduct regular inspections of MEPF installations to ensure adherence to approved plans and quality standards. Identify non-conformances in installation, workmanship, or material quality. Oversee and participate in testing and commissioning activities for MEPF systems. Verify system functionality and ensure proper operation before project handover. Prepare detailed non-conformance reports (NCRs) and recommend corrective actions. Monitor the implementation of corrective measures and follow up on outstanding issues. Familiarize with the project cost/budget (labor and materials). Documentation and Compliance Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, certifications, and approvals. Ensure compliance with quality management systems and documentation requirements. Verify that all MEPF systems meet local codes, standards, and safety regulations. Coordinate with authorities for necessary inspections and certifications. Collaboration and Communication Work closely with contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders to address quality concerns. Provide technical support and guidance to resolve issues during construction. Participate in client meetings to discuss MEPF quality assurance and address concerns. Continuous Improvement Contribute to the development and improvement of MEPF quality standards and processes. Stay updated on advancements in MEPF technologies and practices. Perform other tasks assigned by the Director for Engineering and the Managing Director. Skills & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering fields. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in MEPF engineering, with a focus on quality control in construction. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Proven experience in large-scale construction or infrastructure projects. Additional certifications in quality management or MEPF systems are an advantage. Strong knowledge of MEPF systems, materials, and construction methods. Proficient in MEPF design and analysis tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or equivalent). Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and construction standards. Attention to detail and strong analytical abilities. Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under pressure. Effective communication skills to collaborate with Quality Manager, Director of Engineering, Managing Director and other team members. Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities in a dynamic construction environment. Maintain GTGO’s standards and integrity in all project activities.
