Engineering Supervisor oversees the seamless and efficient functioning of facilities, equipment, machinery, and wastewater treatment, electrical and air‑conditioning buildings, and grounds. The supervisor leads a team of technicians, ensuring alignment and collaboration to meet departmental objectives. Job Responsibilities Manages a team of technicians (electrical, mechanical, plumbing, civil works, etc.) for the execution of repairs and maintenance works and coordinates administrative coordinators to ensure that work permits and materials are complete. Develops, maintains, and implements monthly work plan activities and cost‑effective preventive and corrective maintenance programs for equipment, machinery, wastewater treatment, electrical, air‑conditioning, building, and grounds. Obtains data and monitors the proper and timely evaluation of preventive and corrective action for all equipment and treatment programs. Ensures all needed tools, spare parts, equipment, and operating supplies are defined, maintained, and sourced out properly/timely to keep an appropriate inventory level. Implements consistent housekeeping maintenance and compliance with all safety rules and regulations. Monitors and controls the cost of operating and maintaining equipment and treatment programs, including finding ways to improve tools, equipment performance, utilization, and manpower productivity. Motivates and encourages subordinates toward continuous performance improvement and compliance with safety rules and regulations through coaching and direct supervision and performance appraisal/reviews. Ensures all aspects of the Engineering Department’s needs are covered in the preparation of the annual budget. Prepares reports and performs other miscellaneous tasks as assigned by the immediate head. Qualifications Licensed Mechanical/Electrical Engineer. Supervisory experience of at least 1 year in Kitchen, HVAC equipment, and/or facilities repairs and maintenance (experience in the food manufacturing/restaurant/hospitality industry is a big plus). Experience in handling direct‑hire/direct report/in‑house technicians. Experience with CAPEX and OPEX budgets is preferred. Amenable to work on a 6‑day workweek (48 hours per week).
