Job Description Overview The Accounting Staff is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, performing various accounting tasks, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and financial reporting with a proven track record. Responsibilities Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements. Process financial transactions, including invoicing, expense tracking, etc. Maintain, update and process financial records, including ledgers, journals, receivables, payments, etc. Ensure timely and accurate processing of urgent invoices up to the payment endorsement. Prepare month-end journals: prepayments, amortization, accrual, cost re-allocation, manual reclassification, and adjustments. Bank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies. Prepare account and balance sheet reconciliation reports and ensure that relevant schedules and analyses are available monthly. Assist in internal and external audits, providing documentation and explanations as needed. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies. Continuously evaluate and improve finance and accounting processes and procedures. Perform other Finance and Accounting related functions as assigned from time to time. Qualifications Bachelor’s/College Degree, Finance/Accounting related course (CPA is a plus). Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint). 1 to 3 years of relevant working experience in financial/general accounting (AP and account reconciliation experience is a must). Basic knowledge in Philippine Taxation and Filing is an advantage. Excellent attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Ability to work independently, under pressure and manage multiple priorities. Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams. Ethical conduct and ability to handle confidential information.
