Job Description

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identifying and qualifying potential clients through various methods like cold calling, networking, and online research.
  • Relationship Building: Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions.
  • Sales Presentations and Demonstrations: Delivering compelling presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients.
  • Negotiation and Closing: Negotiating sales contracts, pricing, and terms to close deals and achieve sales targets.
  • Account Management: Managing existing client accounts, providing ongoing support, and identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
  • Sales Reporting and Analysis: Tracking sales activities, analyzing performance, and providing regular reports to management.
  • Market Research: Staying informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
  • Working towards individual and team sales goals, contributing to the overall revenue growth of the company.

1. Educational Background

  • Minimum: Vocational / Diploma Course
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field

2. Work Experience

  • Proven experience in field sales, direct sales, or similar customer-facing role (1–3 years or more)
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets/goals

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities
  • Good interpersonal skills for building and maintaining client relationships
  • Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple clients and tasks efficiently
  • Problem-solving skills to address client needs and overcome objections
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Adaptable and resilient in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
  • Tech-savvy (proficient in CRM software, sales tools, and mobile technology)

4. Technical & Practical Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license (and access to a vehicle, if required)
  • Willingness and ability to travel within assigned territories
  • Familiarity with the local market or industry (preferred)
