Role focus: Overseeing billing and collections for the APAC and CIS regions, acting as the main point of contact for day-to-day coordination with market finance teams. This role manages APAC and CIS A/R balances by initiating direct client contact and coordinates A/R information with offices that handle Billing & Collections in India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos, Bangladesh, Cyprus, Kazakhstan, and Azerbaijan. What You'll Be Doing 50% Accounts Receivable: Assess and establish credit limits according to policy and assign payment terms; maintain documentation to comply with Record Retention and Internal Audit policies; perform monthly aging reviews and follow up on A/R status across regions. Monthly activities: Conduct monthly calls and visits to agencies and reps to verify remittance status and maintain cash flow; monitor cash receipts allocation and related reporting (cash apps and wire instructions). Reporting: Prepare management reports on A/R status, aging, bad debt analysis, agency incentive analysis, cash forecasts, and collections status for all markets. Collaboration: Interface with Ad Sales, Client Services, and other internal/external teams to analyze, collect, and reconcile accounts for collection. 50% Credit Analysis: Evaluate creditworthiness of potential customers; create credit scoring models for risk assessment; approve or reject credit based on data; negotiate payment terms with new clients; ensure compliance with internal policies; maintain credit records; monitor debt payments and bad debts; review and update the company’s credit policy. What will make you a good fit for this role Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) is a plus. Proven experience as a Credit Controller, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience. Strong understanding of credit control processes, financial analysis, and risk management. Excellent communication and negotiation skills; good English proficiency in both written and oral form. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills; proactive and able to work under pressure; strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused approach; high level of integrity and professionalism.
