Solution Engineer

Responsibilities
  • Solution Design and Delivery: Communicate with the Business Analyst, Product Owner team and business user representatives to understand needs and recommend solutions that meet those needs.
  • Estimate costs and benefits of different solutions, including potential impacts on performance and security.
  • Design, implement and maintain solutions based on client needs.
  • Ensure captured business requirements are translated and aligned with ITD’s technical solutions, product roadmap, backlog, and architecture.
  • Track client feedback to ensure satisfaction with the solution provided.
  • Lead delivery through Scaled Agile Framework, DevOps, CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery) testing and deployment.
  • Work with development teams to create new solutions or improve existing ones.
  • Review design issues and provide guidance to developers, support engineers and administrators on fixing defects.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • Integration: Connect Power Platform solutions with other systems defined in the Solution Architecture document (e.g., Sovereign Operations, eOPS, ADB Integrated Data Ecosystem, Master Data Management, and Credit Lens).
  • Knowledge Management: Create documentation such as Requirements Definition Document (RDD), Solution Design Document (SDD), Security License to Operate (SLTO) or Transition Support and Maintenance Plan (TSMP); maintain platform and technical documentation.
  • Continuous Improvement and Compliance: Identify opportunities for improvement, analyze architectures, and perform system security assessments to ensure compliance with the security framework.
  • Support and Troubleshooting: Provide application technical support to end-users and coordinate with ITD teams for hardware, platform and external system integration support.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Power Platform (architecture, development, rollout, maintenance, data management, migration).
  • Experience in requirement analysis and business process re-engineering.
  • Prior experience in agile methodologies (experience in product management).
  • Hands-on experience in architecting solutions with server-side code, custom business logic, integration modules, workflow assemblies, and plug-ins.
  • .NET Programming Model and xRM Framework.
  • Power Platform (PowerApps, Flow, PowerBI).
  • SharePoint Development Framework (SPFx).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reporting and Coordination
  • Agency Personnel will take instructions from the PPP M&E Product Delivery Manager at the client’s Information Technology Department and work with the product team and stakeholders; provide other services as required by the client ITD supervisor or user unit.
