The Training Officer for Landers Superstore plays a critical role in enhancing the capabilities and performance of retail employees. This position focuses on the end-to-end management of functional training programs, module development, facilitation, and vendor coordination. The Training Officer will work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure training content is accurate, relevant, and aligned with business goals. Key Responsibilities Training Program Management: Design, deliver, and assess functional training programs for retail staff, including onboarding, product knowledge, customer service, and operational excellence Module Development: Create engaging, retail-focused training materials, including e-learning modules, facilitator guides, and participant workbooks Facilitation: Conduct in-person and virtual training sessions, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and skill development Vendor Management: Collaborate with third-party training providers to source and manage external training solutions as needed Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with SMEs, store managers, and HR to identify training needs and ensure program relevance Training Assessment: Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and ongoing performance metrics Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on retail industry trends and best practices to continuously improve training content and delivery methods Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in psychology, Human Resources, or a related field 3-4 years of experience in Learning and Development, preferably in a retail environment Strong instructional design skills with experience in module creation Excellent facilitation and presentation skills Ability to collaborate with SMEs and cross-functional teams Strong organizational and project management skills Proficiency in e-learning tools (e.g., Canva, Capcut, Adobe Premier Pro, Vyond) is a plus Personal Attributes Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for employee development Proactive problem-solver with excellent communication skills High level of creativity and attention to detail Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
