This is a remote position.

Responsible for independently and cooperatively understanding business requirements. Architecting, designing and implementing a reliable and scalable automation framework for a real-world machine learning platform. Automating tests to assure functional requirements and performance KPIs are met. Ensuring high product quality through rigorous functional and API level tests. Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs. Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved. Providing technical and group leadership to fellow team members.

Responsibilities
  • Architect, design and implement a scalable automation framework for a real-world ML platform.
  • Automate tests to meet functional requirements and performance KPIs; perform thorough regression testing.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs; ensure high product quality through functional and API level tests.
  • Provide technical and group leadership to team members.
Qualifications
  • B.S. or MS in Computer Science or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience with UI automation tools (e.g., Selenium) and API automation; experience with Jenkins.
  • Knowledge and experience with ROBOT automation framework using Python.
  • 3+ years of experience with Python and/or J2EE or equivalent OO paradigm.
  • Experience automating test validation via API or databases (Snowflake, Hive, AWS); AWS/Athena desirable.
  • Knowledge of Git workflows; Agile testing methodologies; web application testing (frontend and backend).
  • Experience with Kafka, Elasticsearch, SQL/NoSQL (e.g., Aerospike, Thrift); CI and container-based solutions; AWS desirable.
  • Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
  • Ability and desire to learn new skills and take on new tasks.
