Come and be a part of this success. About the Role We seek a highly motivated individual to join our dynamic team as a Specialist Accounting Processes overseeing Minerals Americas. Key Accountabilities: To provide accounting, financial stewardship, control, and standard-setting for the Management Accounting processes. Ensure that accounting activities (journal entries, management reports, master data requests, account reconciliations, capitalization of projects, SOX controls) for the respective assets within the Americas region are performed accurately to facilitate informed business decisions and meet compliance requirements. Perform final cost/results review for the respective assets in preparation for ledger close to ensure accuracy and completeness of the results. Liaise with the GBS teams, Finance Business Partners, Accounting and Reporting and Operations teams across the Americas region and assist with issues, queries and requests. Operate associated controls within the process, participate in internal and external audit requirements including information requests, financial queries, and testing of controls. Support and build relationships within GBS, Finance Business Partners, Accounting and Reporting Team, and Operations stakeholders. Support the testing and implementation of global process improvement initiatives and system changes to ensure accurate and timely deployment. About You Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain optimal customer and stakeholder relationships. Strong analytical skills with focus on accuracy, validation and problem solving. Demonstrated experience working in either an SAP or Oracle-based (or similar large ERP system) general ledger, business warehouse and consolidation system environment. Proficiency in MS Excel skills to be able to work efficiently and effectively in using large volumes of data. Proven ability to operate in a deadline driven environment.
