The SC Analyst – Materials Data Operations is responsible for the end-to-end (E2E) operational material master data creation in SAP, data quality maintenance, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives for Supply Chain and related business areas. This role involves interfacing with multiple stakeholders across Supply Chain Operations, IT, Technical Asset Operations, and other functions to ensure data accuracy, reliability, and value delivery.

What’s the role?

• Create material master records (MMR) in SAP systems.
• Collaborate with suppliers, asset engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary data.
• Implement data quality projects and process improvements.
• Ensure data quality and operationalize data designs to eliminate waste.
• Maintain controls and mitigate risks in data processes.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Act as a data expert for various business units.

Dimensions:

This role supports US/Canada, East, and NW Europe assets, covering Chems, Mobility, Lubes, and IT lines of business.

Challenges:

Understanding business requirements, analyzing data for insights, managing diverse stakeholders, and working across different shifts.

What you bring:

• Proficiency in German (read/write/speak).
• Technical engineering or maintenance background (preferred).
• Knowledge of Material Master Data and MMRs.
• Familiarity with process automation and digitalization (a plus).
• Strong data knowledge and analytical skills.
• Proactive, innovative, and results-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in teams, managing complexities and cultural sensitivities.
