Attorney Editor, Specialty Content – Product Research Attorney Editors within Specialty Content are responsible for legal research, analysis, and writing to support the development and maintenance of Thomson Reuters’ premium legal content. Attorney Editors work collaboratively with colleagues in the United States and across the globe to author, edit, and annotate legal research materials. Attorney Editors must have sound editorial judgment, as they play a key role in ensuring the quality of our editorial content. About The Role Create and classify legal information in the form of summaries, highlights, topical classifications, and other features and enhancements. Identify key legal issues in primary source materials issued by U.S. state and federal administrative agencies and judicial bodies. Adhere to editorial publishing schedules and quality standards. Regularly use AI solutions in your day‑to‑day work and contribute to development and refinement of AI tools. Perform legal research using Westlaw, CoCounsel, and other systems. Verify your own work and that of other staff for accuracy, completeness, presentation, and organization. Maintain and develop legal knowledge and skills as needed to complete your work and stay current on legal trends and developments related to your editorial responsibilities. Work with multiple stakeholders and balance ongoing responsibilities with emerging projects. About You A Juris Doctorate degree. Superior writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy. Experience with interpreting, analyzing, organizing, and communicating complex legal material. Excitement around using AI to enhance our products and workflows. Ability to prioritize concurrent projects and adhere to challenging deadlines. Understanding of U.S. jurisprudence and the role of administrative agencies (preferred). What’s in it For You?
