About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Editor to join our team at Good Pastry Café' in BF Homes Paranaque City Metro Manila. As our Editor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the content and voice of our thriving food and lifestyle publication. This is a full-time position.

What you'll be doing

  1. Overseeing the editorial process from idealization to publication
  2. Collaborating with our writers and content creators to develop engaging, informative and visually appealing articles
  3. Proofreading and editing content to ensure it meets our high standards for quality, style and tone
  4. Managing the editorial calendar and coordinating with the wider team to deliver timely content
  5. Providing feedback and guidance to writers to help them improve their skills
  6. Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our publication

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 1-2 years of experience as an Editor or in a similar role within the advertising, arts and media industry
  2. Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills with an exceptional eye for detail
  3. Excellent time management and organisational abilities to juggle multiple deadlines
  4. Familiarity with editorial processes and content management systems
  5. A passion for food, lifestyle and design content
  6. The ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team
