Overview The Employee Relations Specialist will be responsible for managing and improving the relationship between employees and the organization within the FMCG industry. This role will support the company’s efforts to foster a positive workplace environment, address employee concerns, and ensure compliance with company policies and labor laws. The ER Specialist will play a key role in conflict resolution, employee engagement, and maintaining an effective, harmonious work environment in a fast-paced and dynamic industry. Responsibilities Employee Relations Management: Serve as the main point of contact for employees and management regarding workplace concerns, grievances, and disputes. Conflict Resolution: Mediate and resolve conflicts or disputes between employees, teams, or management through effective communication and negotiation. Support to HR Team: Work closely with other HR functions (e.g., recruitment, compensation & benefits, learning & development) to ensure consistency in employee relations practices across the organization. Incident Report Management: Review incident reports and other documentation to determine appropriate actions and responses. Drafting NTEs and Demand Letters: Prepare and issue formal Notices to Explain (NTEs) to employees based on incident reports, detailing alleged infractions and requesting explanations. Prepare demand letters as needed for breaches of company policy or contractual obligations. Return to Work Orders: Create and manage return-to-work orders for employees coming back after extended leaves of absence, including ensuring compliance with medical requirements and company policies. Notice of Acknowledgement: Ensure employees acknowledge receipt of disciplinary documents and notices, including NTEs, policies, and decisions related to investigations or violations. Administrative Hearing Logs: Maintain comprehensive and accurate logs for all administrative hearings, documenting proceedings, outcomes, and decisions related to employee behavior and discipline. Policy Development & Enforcement: Assist in developing, reviewing, and enforcing company policies to address employee behavior, ensuring compliance with labor laws and best practices. Employee Engagement & Communication: Support initiatives that promote employee engagement, satisfaction, and productivity, and maintain open communication channels for employees to express concerns. Compliance & Legal Support: Ensure all employee relations practices and disciplinary actions comply with labor laws and company policies. Provide legal guidance to management, when necessary, particularly in cases of potential termination or dispute. Reporting & Analysis: Collect data related to employee relations, including incidents, hearings, and disciplinary actions, and provide analysis to senior leadership to inform future policies and practices. Exit Interviews: Conduct exit interviews and assess reasons for turnover, suggesting improvements to reduce attrition. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field. Minimum of 1 year of experience in employee relations, preferably within the FMCG industry. Strong knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and HR best practices. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. #J-18808-Ljbffr
