What You’ll Do As part of our collaborative design team, you’ll help shape purposeful, sustainable and future‑ready spaces that make a lasting impact. Providing clear direction, support, and accountability for the technical team to ensure strong performance and continuous development Ensuring seamless collaboration between architects, designers, engineers, and consultants to integrate all technical requirements into the design process Offering expert support on code compliance, design feasibility, and technical resolution of project challenges Overseeing Quality Assurance‑Quality Control (QA/QC) processes to uphold high standards in design accuracy, documentation quality, and system performance Leading the specification of materials in coordination with design leads, ensuring they meet both design intent and technical performance standards Reviewing and preparing detailed architectural drawings and documentation to ensure precision, completeness, and constructability Actively coaching and developing the teams technical capabilities through training, feedback, and hands‑on support Success Looks Like A technically strong team that delivers sustainable, wellness‑driven, accurate, buildable, and coordinated designs Seamless integration of architectural, interior, engineering, and consultant contributions within the design workflow Clear standards and accountability for technical documentation and QA/QC A culture of learning, growth, and shared technical knowledge across the team Licensed Architect with at least 3 years of post‑licensure experience Bachelor's Degree in Architecture Strong background and knowledge in building systems, construction documentation, detailing, code compliance, and consultant coordination Advanced proficiency in Revit, including modeling, detailing, and coordination workflows Proficiency in AutoCAD and other technical documentation tools and workflows Skilled in mentoring and leadership, with a focus on supporting team growth and elevating technical execution Why you’ll thrive at DEQA At DEQA Design Collaborative, we create purposeful spaces for conscious living and we live by our values: Design with Purpose – You act with intention and make an impact.
