This is a remote position.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for independently and cooperatively understanding business requirements.
  • Architecting, designing and implementing a reliable and scalable automation framework for a real-world machine learning platform.
  • Automating tests to assure functional requirements and performance KPIs are met.
  • Ensuring high product quality through rigorous functional and API level tests.
  • Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.
  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
  • Provide technical and group leadership to fellow team members.
Qualifications
  • B.S. or MS in Computer Science or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience with UI Automation tools (e.g., Selenium) and API automation; experience with Jenkins.
  • Knowledge and experience with ROBOT automation framework using Python.
  • 3+ years of experience working with Python and/or J2EE technology or equivalent OO paradigm.
  • Experience with automating test validation via API or database using Snowflake, Hive or AWS; Athenais highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of Git workflows (branching, merging, conflict resolution).
  • Understanding of Agile testing methodologies; web application testing experience (frontend and backend).
  • Experience with Jira; knowledge of Kafka, Elasticsearch, SQL, NoSQL databases (e.g., Aerospike, Thrift); CI and AWS desirable.
  • Experience with container-based solutions a plus; ability to work in a fast-paced technology environment.
  • Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills; ability to learn new skills and take on new tasks.
