Overview Finance SSC - Business Controlling & Reporting The department is mainly tasked to deliver valuable insights to the business through scalable, reliable, and consistent financial controlling to enhance performance and decision-making across the value chain. We are also in charge of ensuring accurate and timely periodic reporting, which includes ensuring compliance with the Company's financial guidelines, balancing with managing business performance, and engaging with relevant business stakeholders - both finance and non-finance operations. We also act as business partners for regional, business unit/segment, or group stakeholders and make sure that the financial activities-driven decisions are taken on a good financial business case, which can and will be followed upon. The group consists of various teams supporting Vestas\' value chain, including financial BPM controllers in the region and in SSC - from Sales, Manufacturing, Customer Project Execution (CPX previously construction), Service, Development, Research & Development, transport, tools, group/headquarters finance (Transfer pricing, Group reporting, Real estate & Facility Management, Digital Solutions, and Financial Planning & Analysis, and Product costing & analytics). Finance SSC > Controlling and Reporting > SSC Assembly & Blades Ext Man + PBU Responsibilities Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data in factory reports and budgets, supported by well-documented assumptions Deliver stable and precise forecasts, with clear explanations of changes based on business drivers Serve as a strategic business partner to the COO Area, providing fact-based, root cause-driven performance reporting Generate ad hoc reports in response to business requirements Execute controlling tasks in full alignment with Vestas Financial Guidelines, ensuring compliance and proper controls Maintain and update process documentation (SOPs) in a timely manner Conduct regular controls and compliance checks Identify and implement improvements in current processes; contribute to global optimization initiatives Collaborate closely with colleagues and stakeholders to resolve operational issues efficiently and recommend necessary adjustments Qualifications Bachelor\'s Degree in any Finance, Accounting, Business Management or related area. Nice to have certifications (i.e., CPA, CMA, CIA, RCA, CTT, etc.) At least 4-6 years of relevant working experience in finance, particularly Business Controlling, Financial Analysis, or any equivalent finance functions Good communication skills, particularly in the English language, both oral and written, and able to communicate insights to stakeholders and team members Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Knowledge of using the ERP system. Experience in SAP Possess analytical skills relevant for financial analysis, i.e., variance analysis, formulating basic insights, and linking to finance with a curious growth and continuous improvement and learning mindset With relevant experience in managing stakeholders and reporting insights generated from the analysis + controlling experience Flexible in work shift schedule depending on the region catered and willing to extend during the month-end close, as needed. Experience in a shared service set-up is desired but not required Team-oriented and initiative-driven; capable of navigating complexities in a demanding and consistently evolving environment With experience in inventory accounting, project accounting, revenue & cost controlling and reporting insights is desired. Competencies Extensive experience in managing actual financials, budgeting, and forecasting Thorough understanding of accounting principles and advanced analytical skills for financial analysis Skilled in developing financial projections and building financial models Proficient in documentation and process mapping for operational efficiency Self-motivated with a positive mindset; prepared to navigate complex and evolving environments effectively Practical experience with ERP systems; SAP and SAP-BI proficiency required Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; knowledge of Macros is beneficial Effective presentation and communication skills Proficient stakeholder management and business partnering capabilities Ability to translate financial data into clear insights for non-financial audiences What we offer Vestas provides an open, respectful global culture, an attractive compensation package, and long-term career development.
