Job Overview:
We are urgently hiring three experienced Database Engineers to join our IT team onsite in Cebu Philippines. This role involves designing, optimizing, and maintaining both relational and non-relational databases, ensuring high availability and performance in a production environment. Candidates must be comfortable working in fast-paced, collaborative settings with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain relational and non-relational databases to support application workflows.

Install, configure, and test database software (e.g., Oracle, MariaDB).Manage Oracle Data Guard, RAC (Real Application Clusters), and ASM (Automatic Storage Management).Monitor database systems, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and minimal downtime.

Collaborate with software developers and data analysts to gather requirements and provide database expertise.

Provide technical support for production and office database environments.

Stay current with database technology trends and propose system improvements for performance, scalability, and security.

Required Experience:
1-3 years of experience as a Database Engineer or in a similar role.

Hands-on experience in database design, implementation, and administration.

Practical familiarity with Oracle, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL solutions.

Proficient in PL/SQL and shell scripting.

Familiarity with Red Hat-based Linux systems, e.g., Rocky Linux, Oracle Linux.

Preferred Qualifications:

Oracle certifications: OCA (Oracle Certified Associate) or OCP (Oracle Certified Professional).Proven experience managing large-scale, production-grade database systems.

Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Excellent teamwork and communication abilities

Passion for continuous learning and adopting new technologies

Clear verbal and written communication

Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and manage multiple database systems effectively
