Responsibilities
  • Lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications using COBOL, acting as the primary point of contact.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring successful project delivery.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring project success and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or college degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
  • At least 3 years of experience in COBOL.
  • Experience in Wealth Management Advisory Solutions.
  • Strong understanding of COBOL programming language and related technologies.
  • Familiarity with mainframe environments, databases (such as DB2 or VSAM), and batch processing.
  • Experience with modernizing or refactoring legacy COBOL applications is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
