Overview We are looking for an experienced Project Management Officer (PMO) to support and drive a major digital transformation program in the banking sector. This role requires strong leadership in project governance, centralized program support, and cross-functional coordination to ensure complex initiatives are delivered successfully, on time, and within budget. Responsibilities Establish and oversee governance frameworks, processes, and escalation paths across large-scale projects. Define and track KPIs and performance metrics to monitor program execution. Provide centralized support for project teams, offering tools, templates, and guidance on best practices. Partner with senior leadership and delivery managers to resolve issues and mitigate risks . Deliver comprehensive reports on project status, risks, and milestones to executives and stakeholders. Lead effective stakeholder communication to ensure alignment and manage expectations. Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing project performance and recommending enhancements. Conduct training and knowledge-sharing sessions to strengthen project management capability across teams. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, Computer Science, or related field. At least 5 years of direct Project Management experience leading teams in the banking, financial services, or insurance industries. Strong leadership and facilitation skills with the ability to influence across multiple levels of the organization. Proven experience managing PMO functions for enterprise-level or complex programs. Expertise in governance, reporting, and stakeholder management. Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Hands-on experience with multiple project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, Iterative). Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Confluence, or similar). Demonstrated experience in managing enterprise-scale application or digital transformation projects. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
