Project Designer III – Overview The Project Designer III is a strategic team member responsible for managing AutoCAD/Revit systems and developing high‑quality construction documents throughout the design and construction process. The role requires coordination with architects, engineers, consultants, and project teams to deliver design solutions that meet schedule, budget, and code requirements. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review architectural drawings, specifications, and coordination drawings for multifamily and multifamily design projects. Coordinate design development with senior architects, project architects, and consultants, including clerical support for RFI, submittal, and change order process. Produce construction documents using Revit/BIM systems, ensuring drawings are code compliant and produced on schedule. Monitor quality of consultant drawings, assist in quality control plan reviews, and verify accuracy before permitting or submission. Coordinate with outside consultants and local authorities for permitting, zoning, and building compliance. Provide weekly progress reports and participate in weekly coordination meetings (RFI, ACG Design, AHBI). Assist in construction document coordination, including access control to original drawings and original files. Promote teamwork and professional representation of the company at all times. Qualifications & Skills Minimum 7+ years of architectural design experience, including at least 4 years of multifamily design. Minimum 7 years of Revit experience; educational experience may be included. Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field. Strong creative capabilities and ability to develop innovative design solutions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Demonstrated ability to collaborate in a team environment and work independently. Knowledge of ADA requirements and ability to comply with all applicable codes. Licensure not required.
