Overview

Revenue Accountant role within the Finance team. This position is responsible for ensuring accurate revenue recognition, compliance with accounting principles, and preparing revenue-related reports for global clients.

Location: Alabang (Temp WFH; must be amenable to report onsite when required)

Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and validate journal entries and reconciliations related to revenue transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and revenue recognition standards (including deferred revenue).
  • Perform flux analyses and ensure accuracy of financial reporting.
  • Oversee and test SOX controls related to revenue processes.
  • Manage revenue reporting, including deferrals, adjustments, and reconciliations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on accounting treatment of contracts.
  • Provide insights during audits and support external auditors as required.
  • Identify and drive process improvements for accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of experience in Revenue Accounting / Revenue Recognition .
  • Experience in audit firms (PwC, EY, KPMG, Deloitte, or similar) is highly preferred.
  • Prior experience working with US or multinational clients .
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related business course .
  • CPA license is a strong advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to work in night shift / US hours, including holidays .
  • Must be willing to attend induction/new hire orientation onsite .
