Responsibilities

• Setup and maintenance on SGS LIMS solutions which benefit and support the Digital Laboratory Program.
• Communicate with global and regional technical staff to drive LIMS solutions supporting the Digital Laboratory Program.
• Ensure full setup of LIMS global template within the Digital Laboratory Program strategy, from cradle to grave, facilitating the full implementation.
• Define, produce and maintain the global LIMS templates to be used in deployment.
• Contribute to define governance rules on the LIMS test method structure and any master data (e.g., regulation limits, pricing, QC Masks).
• Drive and maintain standardization of master data in LIMS and related guidelines, following business rules.
• Test systems to validate the global master data structure in LIMS according to business requirements.
• Define and maintain the UAT plan and testing scripts based on business scenarios (URS) and functional specifications (FRS).
• Execute functional testing on major releases and ensure quality and global processes for LIMS setup.
• Initial configuration of LIMS-related product during the pilot phase.
• Collaborate with business and GPO process owners to design new test methods when a new structure is required.
• Collaborate with LIMS support to resolve LIMS-related issues.
• Maintain documentation about LIMS setup for core and integration specifications (BOSS Interfaces, Security & Roles, Global Naming conventions, Global Reports).
• Collaborate in defining Functional Requirements Specifications when no acceptable solution exists within available LIMS options.
• Assist with the Functional Requirements and system integration testing as needed.

Qualifications

• College graduate preferably related to Chemistry or Information Technology.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with LIMS.
• Knowledge of Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) processes.
• Fluency in English; other languages are a plus.

Additional Information

• Knowledge and expertise in LIMS processes; understanding of end-to-end lab processes from order to report and invoicing.
• Understanding how analytical tests and instrumentation are performed; knowledge of lab quality control principles.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; strong analytical skills.
• Flexibility to travel; good experience with SGS culture is a plus.
• Team player with problem-solving abilities; able to break down issues and propose solutions.
