Role:

We are looking for a talented Mid-Level Java Developer with strong proficiency in Spring Boot to contribute to the development of high-quality, scalable backend systems. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Java programming, hands-on experience with Spring Boot, and a collaborative mindset to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Development & Maintenance:
• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based backend applications using Spring Boot.
• Implement RESTful APIs and integrate them with front-end applications and third-party services.
• Work closely with senior developers, QA engineers, and product teams to deliver solutions that meet business requirements.
• Participate in design and planning sessions to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Optimization:
• Optimize application performance and ensure high availability and scalability.
• Identify and resolve bugs and technical issues in a timely manner.
• Code Quality:
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following established coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
• Learning & Growth:
• Stay up to date with the latest Java and Spring Boot technologies.
• Continuously improve technical skills and share knowledge with team members.

Qualifications:

• 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience with Java development, including a strong focus on Spring Boot.
• Proficiency in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Basic understanding of ORM tools like Hibernate or JPA.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to write unit and integration tests using frameworks such as JUnit or Mockito.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Cassandra.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker.
• Exposure to messaging systems like RabbitMQ or Kafka.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA or Trello.
• Flexibility in work hours and location, with a focus on managing energy rather than time.
