Responsibilities
  • Provide advice and guidance on governance, risk, and internal control; act as an intermediary between the unit and governance, risk, and internal control departments.
  • Assist in relationship management with internal and external stakeholders and support remedial actions to improve processes.
  • Deliver professional and high-quality service to key GTS clients, operating within service level parameters and ensuring risk policies and regulations are followed.
  • Provide a full range of services for GTS clients, including administration, operations, and processing support, as required by internal and external customers.
  • Maintain superior service delivery by processing work within SLA and applying knowledge of regulatory frameworks to the business segment and customers.
  • Communicate product knowledge clearly to colleagues and customers, support colleagues, and keep product knowledge current.
  • Coordinate with GSC teams to ensure seamless transaction processing; ensure mandatory trainings are completed timely; perform ad hoc duties as required by the business.
  • Lead by example, take accountability, and help teams to deliver results; plan and prioritise work to align with business needs and ensure resources are used efficiently.
  • Ensure work is processed within service guidelines and regulations to minimize operational risk and customer complaints; manage operational risk and compliance with relevant procedures and controls.
  • Maintain HSBC internal control standards, participate in audits, and comply with anti-money laundering processes, sanctions, and regulatory requirements.
Experience, Skills and Qualifications
  • Excellent knowledge and experience in trade products, operations, trade cycle, and customer service.
  • Good understanding of customer groups and supporting business initiatives; strong understanding of operational risk related to Trade Transactions.
  • Strong interpersonal, influencing, and communication skills; good team player with time management abilities.
  • Independent, detail-oriented, and solutions oriented; good command of spoken and written English (desirable).
  • Bachelor degree; immediate right to work locally and no relocation required may be prioritized.
