Technical Program Lead

Job Description: Technical Program Management oversees and coordinates complex technical programs and projects. They ensure that these programs are executed efficiently, align with organizational goals, and deliver expected outcomes. This role requires a blend of strategic vision, technical expertise, and exceptional management skills to drive large-scale technology initiatives from conception through implementation. Responsibilities Program Planning and Execution: Develop and maintain program plans, schedules, and budgets. Manage the execution of multiple projects within the program, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Stakeholder Management: Communicate with stakeholders to define program scope, objectives, and deliverables. Manage stakeholder expectations and resolve conflicts. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with the program. Develop and implement risk management strategies. Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams, including engineers, developers, and other stakeholders. Facilitate collaboration and ensure team members are focused on program goals. Performance Monitoring: Track program performance using key performance indicators (KPIs). Provide regular updates and reports to senior management. Quality Assurance: Ensure that program deliverables meet quality standards and are delivered on time and within budget. Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve program management processes and methodologies. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Program Delivery: Timeliness and quality of program deliverables. Budget Adherence: Accuracy in adhering to the program budget and cost management. Stakeholder Satisfaction: Feedback and satisfaction levels from stakeholders and clients. Risk Mitigation: Effectiveness in identifying and mitigating risks. Team Performance: Efficiency and productivity of the cross-functional teams involved. Top Deliverables Program Roadmaps: Detailed plans outlining the timelines, milestones, and resources required for the successful completion of the program. Status Reports: Regular updates on program progress, including achievements, issues, and risks. Risk Management Plans: Documentation of potential risks, their impact, and strategies for mitigation. Stakeholder Communication: Clear and effective communication with stakeholders, including presentations and briefings. Post-Implementation Reviews: Analysis and reporting on program outcomes, including lessons learned and recommendations for future programs. Certifications Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) Program Management Professional (PgMP) Certified Agile Program Manager (CAPM) ITIL Certification Competencies Strategic Thinking Technical Acumen Organizational Skills Stakeholder Management Change Management Hiring Requirements Work Experience: Typically 7-10 years in technical program management or related roles; experience managing large-scale technical programs, leading cross-functional teams, and working with senior stakeholders. Level of Knowledge: Industry knowledge of technology, technical knowledge of systems and tools, and management knowledge of program methodologies, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
