Position: Senior Accountant

Your mission is to oversee and manage the financial activities of the organization, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and transparency. You will be responsible for overseeing fund operations, cash management, ensuring optimal cash flow management, mitigating financial risk, and compliance with financial regulations. Additionally, you will contribute to financial planning and analysis by providing insights and recommendations.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and achieve a zero-error rate in financial reports.
  • Develop dashboards to measure drivers of business performance, financial and cash forecasts, and provide insights to the team.
  • Maintain accurate fund accounting and ensure compliant investor processes.
  • Manage funding liquidity effectively.
  • Ensure accuracy of financial transactions, including weekly cash reports, liquidity forecasts, calculations, and payment processing.
  • Accurately account for and allocate investor trades and portfolios.
  • Ensure accuracy of financial data input and reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities:

Cash and Liquidity Management:

  • Monitor daily cash positions and forecast short-term and long-term cash needs.
  • Execute strategies to optimize liquidity and minimize idle cash.
  • Coordinate with internal departments for timely funding.
  • Evaluate and recommend investment opportunities.
  • Reconcile investor cash and LOC accounts, conduct interest audits, review interest rates, prepare cash management reports, and monitor LOC compliance.

Cash Flow Forecasting:

  • Develop and analyze cash flow forecasts, collaborate across departments, and explain variances.

Fund and Financial Reporting & Analysis:

  • Oversee engagement with Fund Administrator, review reports, and develop KPIs.
  • Review NAV packs, financial statements, and investor transactions.
  • Ensure timely delivery of financial reports and statements.
  • Manage portfolio funding and investor reports.
  • Reconcile cash and journal entries for month-end closing.
  • Create dashboards for financial analysis and present findings to management.
  • Coordinate with auditors and address audit findings.

Internal Controls and Process Improvement:

  • Develop and enforce policies and procedures for fund accounting.
  • Streamline processes and improve accuracy and scalability.
  • Establish internal controls to prevent fraud and ensure compliance.
  • Implement automation and participate in projects to support business goals.
  • Assess and mitigate financial risks, stay updated on regulations, and ensure compliance.
