We are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join our Manila team. You'll work in our Internal Identity platform team, focusing on OKTA Workforce Identity. Your role is to keep our systems secure and make identity and access management smooth across the company. You will mainly work on UK hours (BST/GMT). Why Cambridge? You will support and deliver security and technology improvements managed by the Internal Identity platform team. Your role includes: Technical leadership for OKTA Workforce Identity, designing and implementing secure solutions. Managing OKTA integration with Active Directory, Entra ID, SaaS apps, and cloud services. Optimising and management of authentication, federation and SSO configurations. Leading and supporting project delivery of new IAM solutions and improvements. Applying identity security standards, governance, and lifecycle policies. Providing operational support for IAM tools and services. Sharing knowledge and coaching colleagues. Giving clear advice to leaders and stakeholders. Working on UK hours and joining the on‑call rotation. Please review the attached job description for further details on the role. What makes you the ideal candidate for this role? An ideal candidate has the following qualities: 2 to 3 years' hands on experience with Identity & Access Management (IAM), including OKTA Workforce Identity Advanced Certifications in OKTA, Microsoft Active Directory, and/or Entra ID Strong expertise in Active Directory, Entra ID, authentication protocols (SAML, OIDC, OAUTH2) and identity federation. Experience leading the design and support of identity platforms in large organisations. Strong understanding of security, compliance, and best practices for identity management - including lifecycle management and MFA. Skills in managing and troubleshooting Active Directory services (domain controllers, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy). Experience with PowerShell and Terraform for automation. A willingness to learn new IAM technologies and integrations.
