Overview Position Overview: As a Technical Writer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality documentation that clearly communicates technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. Work Schedule and Arrangement: 10:00 AM- 7:00 PM, Onsite Office Location: 8th floor Skyrise 4B Building, IT Park, Lahug, Cebu City, Cebu Responsibilities User Guide Creation and Maintenance: Drafting new user guides for software; updating existing user guides for software. Collaboration and Content Development: Collaborating with software developers and subject matter experts to create and draft user guides and release notes for software. Release Notes Documentation: Drafting and compiling release notes for software following a standardized set of formatting and writing guidelines. Quality Control and Proofreading: Proofreading own drafts to ensure a high standard of writing and reduce editorial work needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Mass Communications, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). At least 6 months of experience as a Technical Writer and/or Content Writer Proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills. Ability to research and present information clearly and concisely. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Creative thinking and the ability to adapt writing style to different audiences and platforms. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing error-free content.
