Overview

Purchasing Superintendent / Assistant Manager – Makati based role for TVI Resource Development Phils., Inc. The Superintendent will oversee all phases of construction from initial planning to project completion, including managing subcontractors, ensuring safety compliance, maintaining project schedules, and coordinating with architects, engineers, and project managers. Responsibilities also include ordering materials, inspecting work, and ensuring quality standards are met.

• Oversee all phases of construction from planning to project completion.
• Manage subcontractors and coordinate with architects, engineers, and project managers.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain project safety standards.
• Maintain project schedules and monitor progress against milestones.
• Order materials and inspect work performed to ensure quality standards are met.
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

• Experience in project management, construction management, logistics (import and export) and supervision of brokers, local and international freight forwarders, trucking.
• Strong understanding of construction and mining processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Ability to review specifications and source the best quality at origin.
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Proficiency with construction management software and tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Experience in the construction industry is a must.
• Licensed Engineer or Certified in Supply Chain equivalent is a must.
